"Equal, self-determined, free!"
Under this motto, IWP is marching together with the grassroots initiative and the Hamburg Alliance for the international March 8th strike for equality and against misogyny, sexism and violence. We show solidarity with all women worldwide who are exposed to reprisals. This year, in memory of 40 years of the Islamic revolution, our focus is on Iranian, Afghan and Kurdish women who, according to Sharia law, are only "worth half as much as a man" and who also see their rights violated in our German society.
"People are limbs
interwoven.
From the same material
lifted from creation.
Life has a link
provided with pain,
the other members perish with suffering.
You who have no pity
knows with people
are unworthy of being you
calls a person . "
