On Sunday, 08 January 2023 in Hamburg, Germany, a demonstration was held to mark the 3rd anniversary of the Ukraine International Airline plane crash. The passenger plane was shot down by Revolutionary Guards in Tehran on 08 January 2020.

Funeral service for Jina Mahsa Amini

On Oct. 28, 2022, the murdered Kurdish woman Jina Mahsa Amini was commemorated in Hamburg and a minute of silence was observed. We mourned the deceased and show solidarity with the struggling women and children of Iran.

Solidarity with Iran protests in Berlin on 22.10.2022

"Women. Life. Freedom." - over 100,000 people were in Berlin from all over Europe on Saturday. In solidarity with the women's movement in Iran, the protest marched through the streets of Berlin. We, the initiative International Women in Power were right in the middle of it. Again and again we heard the slogan: "Woman, Life, Freedom". We demanded the overthrow of the government there! On 28.03.2022 the Norouzfest was celebrated for the first time in the American consulate, the small white house, in Hamburg under the initiative of Kourosh Pourkian, Honorary Consul Tajikistan, as well as Mr. Darion Keith Akins, American Consul General.
