"Women. Life. Freedom."

Rally on Monday, 03 October 2022, from 12:00 - 15:00 opposite the Blue Mosque, Schöne Aussicht, 22085 Hamburg.

These days we see how people in Iran revolt against the Mullah dictatorship.
The symbolic figure here is a young woman named Zhina Mahsa Amini, who was murdered in the name of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Because she allegedly did not wear her headscarf correctly, 22-year-old Zhina Mahsa Amini was beaten to death by religious guards in Tehran a few days ago. Since then, there have been protests throughout Iran under the call "Women. Life. Freedom" against the religious dictatorship. The reactions to the protests by the state and its morality police are brutal and bloody. In Hamburg, the religious guards of the Islamic Center Hamburg (IZH) demand that girls as young as nine wear the headscarf.

We welcome the fact that politicians in Hamburg are expressing their support for the Iranian people and their abhorrence of the Mullah regime. However, this remains lip service if at the same time the Islamic Center Hamburg (IZH) can be a contractual partner of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

For, according to the findings of the Hamburg Office for the Protection of the Constitution, the IZH is an "outpost of Tehran bound by instructions", with the help of which the mission of the worldwide export of the "Islamic revolution" and the demand for the destruction of Israel, which is anchored in the Iranian constitution, is to be implemented.

The decision of the Hamburg Senate to allow the IZH to operate has repercussions for Shiite communities throughout Germany. As an extended arm of the Tehran revolutionary leadership, the IZH consistently pursues the goal of spreading Islamist ideas in Germany along home lines.

The Blue Mosque on the Alster should once again be a symbol of Hamburg's cosmopolitanism and not be misused by Iran as a terrorist headquarters. Therefore, the IZH must not remain a partner of the city. The same applies to the Shura as long as the IZH is a member of the Shura. However, there is no sign of the Shura turning away from the IZH. The deputy head of IZH Seyed Soliman Mousavifar was expelled from Germany in June of this year for "close contacts with terrorist organizations." The protests in Iran shed light on the brutal, misogynistic, homophobic and anti-Semitic dictatorship that IZH represents.

We therefore demand the suspension of the state contracts with the Shura as well as the closure of this mosque as long as the Islamic Republic of Iran is in power!
